CAPACITY INCREASE AT BORUSAN PORT!
The second phase of the investments in Borusan Port, the first phase of which was completed in 2009, is about to be wrapped up. This means that the conversion of the site at Borusan Port into a container area has been completed, while efforts towards the electricity conversion of RTGs continues rapidly. Meanwhile, one SSG and three RTGs, purchased to handle containers, were received in July.
Through its investments commissioned at Borusan Port, Borusan Logistics aims to provide faster and more sustainable services to its customers by increasing its average hourly unloading/loading to 105 vessels and decreasing the duration of each vessel’s stay to 20 minutes.
