Carrying out significant activities in the field of social responsibility, Borusan Lojistik has been continuing to answer the needs of Atmaca Village Primary School within Mardin’s Kızıltepe district since 2011. Aiming to make it a tradition to support Atmaca Primary School, Borusan Lojistik continues to offer its support and has also made it its sister school for 2014-2015. As with the past three years, all of the pupils’ stationery, clothing, cleaning and course materials will be covered by Borusan Lojistik this year.

Over the past three years, the whole school has been renovated by Borusan Lojistik. Within the scope of the renovation, the school’s needs such as a water reservoir, air conditioning, library, etc. were fulfilled and the teacher housing was redone. Borusan Lojistik organized an event last year in addition to the assistance it has been providing since 2011. The event was attended by Borusan Lojistik General Manager Kaan Gürgenç, Borusan Lojistik senior management and employees, the pupils of Mardin Kızıltepe Atmaca Primary School, teaching staff, parents and the local community. In addition, signatories of the Kızıltepe District Director of Education and Mardin Protocol, including the Mardin Special Provincial Administrative Director, the Kızıltepe District Property Director and the Atmaca Village Representative joined the event. The children enjoyed a theater performance and then entertained everyone with their own songs and dance shows. Following a lunch, the event ended with a painting contest, with the best painters winning the chance to have their work published in Borusan Lojistik’s 2014 calendar.
