Cross Docking

The process of sorting the goods that are supplied from the suppliers without taking them to the storehouse and shipping them according to the requirements of the customers. 

Cycle counting

The process of counting and recording the stock in sequence during specific periods in order to achieve stock accuracy. 

Damage

All of the damages that cause value and time loss which occur during the transportation, storage and handling etc. of materials, such as tearing, cracking, breakage, deterioration, deformation, wetting, etc. 

Distribution Warehouse

The place where the products from different suppliers are stored until they are distributed to the customers.

Dock

 Area for temporary placement of materials for loading or unloading.

Echelon Inventory

 The consecutive stocks created for the same product throughout the supply chain to meet customer needs.
