Supplier Management

Our suppliers are our business partners that provide team, equipment or material input for our operations. We know that our suppliers’ business performance is seen by our customers as a reflection of Borusan Lojistik’s performance and therefore we cooperate with our suppliers in line with the win-win principle and exchange of information for cultural harmonization. This is why we make joint efforts in process improvement projects. Activities performed for the improvement of process are supported by 6 Sigma projects.

Supplier management (selection, evaluation, development and rewarding) is shaped in line with the policies and strategies of Borusan Lojistik. Within the framework of supplier management processes, the performance of our suppliers is periodically evaluated, analyzed, improvement plans for aspects open to improvement are drawn up, and actions that will improve our cooperation are taken in line with these plans. Additionally, as part of Supplier’s Day, organized at the end of each year, the “Supplier of the Year” is announced in each category.

A Supplier Portal has been created in order for our cooperation with our suppliers to be improved and developed. Through this portal, the suppliers can access training, information required to increase the quality of their services, and other special opportunities provided to them by Borusan Lojistik.
